Drink plenty of water before, during and after your CycleBar ride. We want you to hydrate for pure intoxication and the best possible health. We suggest a light snack 30 minutes before you ride. No need to carbo load for a 50 minute ride but you do need to fuel up.
For your first ride, we suggest a tank or t-shirt and form-fitting shorts or pants. We have plenty of CycleBar apparel for you to try on too. Ride in sneakers, or our bikes accept SPD clip-in cycling shoes. Loaner cycling shoes are available.
When you arrive, please sign in. Reservations are recommended to assure you have a bike, but walk-ins are always welcome if tha class has free bikes! Please be punctual! If you run late, we reserve the right to give up your reserved bike when the class starts (if the class is sold out and people are waiting).
All new CycleBar riders need a signed waiver. You will sign one electronically when you create your CycleBar online account....or if you can ask for one at the front desk if you have not yet created your account. If you are under 18, you need one signed by a parent IN PERSON.
Store your belongings in our cubbies, grab a towel, fill your water bottle and get ready to ride! Hair ties, mints and other amenities are available to make your ride a joy! Be sure to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! You can ride in sneakers, or our bikes accept SPD or LOOK clip-in shoes.
Just as you would with any new workout, you should check with your doctor if indoor cycling is new to you. CycleBar rides offer a full body workout and a rigorous cardio experience so make sure you listen to your own body during your class. CycleStars will inspire you to reach for your personal best but your safety comes first. If at any time during or after a class you feel unusual symptoms, please let us know and/or seek medical attention.
